Lion's Mane is a fungus that grows naturally on hardwood trees in temperate forests in the Northern Hemisphere, including North America, Europe and Asia. Lion's Mane is also called 'wig mushroom' in Dutch because of the long 'hairs' that hang down. The English name also refers to the appearance of the mushroom that resembles 'lion's mane'.

Description
Lion's Mane powder
Mattisson organic Lion's Mane powder is made from the fruiting body of the fungus, i.e. the mushroom. The tracks have not been used. The substrate (soil) of the Lion's Mane is a mix of wood sawdust, wheat bran, sugar and lime. This entire substrate is also organic. The substrate is not processed, so the powder in the capsules is 100% organic Lion's Mane.
The capsules are an 11:1 hot water extract of fruiting body.
Adaptogenic
Lion's Mane is counted among the adaptogens. The non-toxic herbs, roots and also mushrooms that fall under this category have been used for centuries in China and in Ayurveda. Nowadays they are also on the rise in the Western world.
Use and store
1-4 x daily 1 capsule during or after meals with water. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Keep cool, dry and closed.
