The best period for outdoor growing in the Netherlands is from May to early July, so that your plants get enough light and warmth before autumn starts. autoflower-seeds can be sown in June or even July, as they flower automatically after 3–4 weeks of vegetative growth. Feminized seeds have a longer vegetative phase (6–8 weeks) and are therefore preferably planted in May.
- May–June: ideal start for both autoflower as feminized.
- July: still possible for autoflower by automatic flowering.
- Note: prospect of frost-free nights and sufficient day length.
Provide nutritious, well-drained soil, regular feeding and keep an eye on the weather forecast via local weather reports.
