But every coffee shop is not like the other, certainly in terms of range and quality. Fortunately, there are the necessary award ceremonies that take place every year that provide insight into which coffee shops have the best weed sell and where they are located. Dizzy Duck

This shop in The Hague is now used to winning prizes. Here they sell many award-winning cannabis strains and guarantee high quality. It is therefore not surprising that Dizzy Duck Downtown from The Hague participates every year at the top of the top. In 2022, it was the strain Gelato that gave Dizzy Duck the top prize. The coffee shop opened its doors on Trompstraat in 1991 and has since conquered the hearts of many cannabis enthusiasts.

Another shop from The Hague, which according to the Highlife Cup is one of the best coffee shops in the country, is coffee shop Magic on Gortstraat. In 2019, this shop was voted the best shop in the Netherlands by the Highlife Cannabis Cup, when the organically grown Silver Haze was highly valued.

The best coffee shops in Amsterdam

Actually, Amsterdam deserves its own category as purveyor to the Dutch coffee shops. Almost 30% of the total number of coffee shops in the Netherlands is located in Amsterdam.

One of the more famous and highly regarded Amsterdam shops is Boerejongens. This chic coffee shop is a real favourite, especially among the locals. In this shop they sell weed of the highest quality, and the budtenders, aka cannabis called sommeliers, have an in-depth knowledge of the business.

Another high-end cannabis store in Amsterdam is Coffeeshop Sloterdijk. The appearance of this shop resembles a luxurious hotel lobby due to its wooden and gold wall elements. It is an ultramodern shop with lots of natural light and an open appearance. Here too, the trained staff take all the time to find the perfect strain for you.

A shop that should of course not be missing in this blog is Barney's Coffeeshop. Also one of the more famous shops in Amsterdam, and that is certainly not without reason. The shop is located in a 500 year old historic building in the Haarlemmerstraat, where you can enjoy the old school Amsterdam vibe with the best quality weed you can find. The fact that they have won the High Times Cup several times in recent years is proof of this.
