What is Chaga?

Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a mushroom and grows on the trunk of birch trees, from which betaline acid is extracted. Chaga does not look like a mushroom, but like a black / orange protrusion on the tree that is very hard. Chaga does especially well in cold, harsh climates.

Chaga is an adaptogen. Adaptogens are non-toxic plants that help return the body to a level of homeostasis. The herbs and roots have been used in China and Ayurveda for centuries, but nowadays they are also on the rise in the Western world.

What are the benefits of Chaga?

Chaga contains many different substances that provide an adaptogenic effect, such as vitamins, minerals, phenols, enzymes and antioxidants. The substances in Chaga have a very high ORAC value (oxygen radical absorbance capacity). The Chaga mushroom also contains many beta-glucan rich polysaccharides and active compounds such as betulinic acid. In addition, Chaga is rich in fiber. Chaga is seen as a real superfood with a stimulating effect on the immune system and vitality. Chaga naturally has a vanilla-like flavor.

Use and store

1-3 x daily 1 capsule during or after meals with water. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
